In order to optimise your experience and ensure a seamless and effortless process, we have compiled a set of helpful tips to facilitate a smooth journey for you.

Contacting your GP

To reach Ocean Village Medical Centre, please contact us during our opening hours.

If you would like to speak directly with a doctor, we will make every effort to connect you. However, please be aware that they may be attending to other patients, in which case we can forward a message on your behalf.

Please note that for clinical issues, it is best to have a face-to-face discussion with your doctor.

Receiving your Test Results

The providing doctor promptly reviews all the results. If needed, our nurses will reach out to you and request that you schedule an appointment to discuss further with the doctor. You may receive a phone call or a message via HotDoc. For privacy reasons, our receptionists are unable to provide results over the phone.

How to Obtain a Specialist Referral

During your consultation with your GP, you have the option to obtain a referral for a specialist. We also provide repeat referrals, although there might be an extra charge associated with this or an appointment may be requested by your GP.

Organising a Medical Certificate

To obtain a medical certificate, you must schedule an appointment. It is important to note that we are unable to backdated medical certificates under any circumstances.

Reminders

We send appointment reminders via HotDoc, 24 hours prior to your appointment. This gives you the opportunity to confirm or cancel the appointment. As a part of our commitment to preventive care, we may also send you personalized health service reminders.
